The city's Amt für Wirtschafts­för­de­rung (Economic Develop­ment Depart­ment) works to expand clusters and networks in Karlsruhe and to maintain federal and inter­na­tio­nal networks. Targeted coope­ra­tion and technology transfers in areas such as infor­ma­tion and commu­ni­ca­tion technology, automotive, nano technology, energy, or cultural and creative industries create innovating power and valuable compe­ti­tive advantages.

Automotive Engineering Network (AEN)

The AEN is a specia­li­sed commu­ni­ca­tion platform for businesses in the areas of automotive, research and technology. The AEN supports its members with searches for project partners, with the acqui­si­tion of know-how and in finding qualified personnel. The AEN is not limited to Karlsruhe, focusing its activities rather on the entire south-west of Germany.
