Our stocks
The District Library in Waldstadt has around 26,000 items to
offer, amongst them are non-fiction books for general
education, school and hobbies, children and young people’s
books and novels, many DVDs, CD-ROMs and CDs, music and
children’s cassettes, comics and language courses, party
games and newspapers and much more! Besides all this there
are two sites for internet access.
To orientate yourself
In the District Library in Waldstadt there is a spacious
reading area with around 40 magazines and newspapers which
many residents of Karlsruhe enjoy using. There is also a
photocopier available. Besides all this there is an area for
children to look at picture books, browse, play on the
computer and much more.
Our events for children and adults
Our work with children and young people is an important part
of the leisure activities on offer at the District Library
in Waldstadt. Here children can allow themselves to be
carried away on fairy tale adventures and take part in
crafts. Take a look for yourself and come and register!
Exhibitions
In addition the spacious and comfortable rooms in the
library are used for exhibitons. Over a long period there
are photos of flora and fauna exhibited here. The librarians
also offer the opportunity for those interested in art the
to exhibit and to look at works of fine art.
